MEET THE ARTIST

Safiuchi

Safiuchi is a Tlingit multimedia artist, architectural designer, and podcaster. She works with mixed media, including expressive charcoal on raw canvas, acrylics, printmaking, collagraphs, murals, and refractive photography.

The “i” serves as a visual anchor for a journey that has navigated site demolition, chaos, and the raw labor of healing: breaking down what no longer holds, and rebuilding from what’s true. Moving between expressive charcoal on raw canvas and conceptual, refractive photography, Safiuchi invites you to look beyond the symmetry of the surface.
